To Our Valued TONI&GUY Family:
We care deeply about the health and safety of our customers, students and team members. That is why we want to share the steps we are taking at our locations throughout North America. We are closely monitoring the current situation with COVID-19 (the coronavirus) and precautions in place to navigate this challenging time.
TONI&GUY Hairdressing Clients
We are closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local health agencies for the latest developments related to COVID-19 and following the guidance of government and public health officials. Hairdressing salons are held to a high standard when it comes to cleaning and sanitizing and we are following additional recommendations ensuring that hairdressing stations are cleaned in between clients and our salons are receiving thorough cleanings throughout the day.
We are open and operating in most of our full-service salon locations for hairdressing appointments; however, we are being mindful regarding the positioning of hairdressing stations which are being used to ensure increased physical distancing between individuals within the salon. For clients of academy clinic salons please contact your desired location to inquire about the operational schedule.
In all cases, we kindly request that if you are not feeling well, please reschedule your visit for when you are feeling better for the safety of our team and other customers. We may not always have notice of operational changes far in advance, but we will remain in contact with you about your appointment. Please check our website and/or speak with your location about any changes to our operational schedule.
TONI&GUY Students and Team Members
As the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has recommended, we ask that everyone be conscious of the potential health risk associated with this illness and follow the official preventative recommendations.
We believe the CDC website is the best destination for that advice. (For additional COVID-19 information in Canada, visit the Public Health Agency of Canada website.)In accordance with the CDC’s protocol, we have asked that any students and team members who are experiencing any related symptoms to avoid coming to school or work for a period of 14 days.
Additionally, students or team members who have been ill must remain free of fever and symptoms for 24 hours before returning to school or work. This same guidance is in place for those who live in a household with members who have visited, or who have themselves visited, China, Iran, Italy, or South Korea.
As a reminder, the following are recommended as general precautions during this time:
As we work through this together, we are committed to providing customers, students and team members with the information they need to make informed decisions.
Be well, The TONI&GUY Family
