Style Round Up: 2019 Cannes Film Festival & More

This week was an exciting one; the 72nd Annual Cannes Film Festival kicked off, the movie Booksmart, directed by Olivia Wilde, premiered, and Netflix presented the Entertainment Weekly & PEOPLE New York Upfronts Party. The hair looks from this week’s events were both fun and chic, and offered a glimpse into the summer styles we’ll want to wear.

Amanda Seales, comedian, actress and radio host, showed up to the Entertainment Weekly & PEOPLE New York Upfronts Party with lots of hair pulled sleekly back into a full ponytail, featuring a braided hair bow in place of a headband.

The Broadway star Helene Yorke went to the Entertainment Weekly & PEOPLE party with a creative hairstyle, braiding her own hair into a headband.

Booksmartis going to be a hot movie this summer, with actress Kaitlyn Dever leading the way. For Dever’s big night, she wore adiva-like hairstyle, a sleek low pony enhanced with rhinestone clips on each side of her hair and a chain wrap to go around her bun.
