This past weekend, we couldn’t help but notice all of the fun styles on the orange carpet at the 2019 Kids’ Choice Awards. Hosting the show in Los Angeles was DJ Khaled, who also managed to slime several of the stars in attendance, including Chris Pratt, Will Smith, Josh Peck, and YouTube sensation David Dobrik. Other attendees, including Heidi Montag, Tia Mowry, and Tyga also attended, and managed to avoid the slime, showing off their colorful ensembles, glam beauty looks, as well as their children.
Slime or not, the event gave us a real case of #FOMO. Here are our faves from the night.
The Kissing Booth actress Joey King wore Jacquemus and confidently showed off a short crop of hair, matching her makeup to her outfit with a dose of red hot eyeshadow. King took home the famous orange blimp for Favorite Movie Actress for her role in the film.
Come May, we’ll be seeing Naomi Scott on screen playing Princess Jasmine in the live-action version of Disney’s Aladdin, a role which has made her the talk of the town. Here, she boldly matches the carpet in an orange Prada overcoat, paired with a hoodie, her hair nonchalantly pulled back for an ultra cool look.
To all the fashionistas that love a good look, Lana Condor definitely achieved this with a unique twist on pigtails, updated to compliment her sweet outfit. Get the look at home by clipping in extensions, curling with a wide barrel iron, and securing with elastic bands one third from the ends.
We Like that gingham-print blazer punched up with touches of yellow Janelle Monae! Flashy and classy Monae paired her outfit with a boater hat to complete the look, fortunately doing nothing to hide her long braids.
Mini fashionista, Taylen Biggs, wears this spunky, funky, colorful look so well, and makes it all her own. Her candy colored hair and iridescent orange outfit suit the occasion. She is killing this carpet.
